Eleven selectable calibrations on a 12-position map switch allow the ABS behaviour to be tuned for tyres, surface conditions, and driving style.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eWhy this platform, and why a program rather than a kit\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAn Ultima is a component car. There is no factory ABS to replace, no factory sensor mounting to adapt, and no two cars built quite the same way, which is exactly why owners who want ABS have historically had to engineer the whole thing themselves.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe car that started this program is one of those. Its owner built his own wheel speed sensor tone rings and mounts to get a motorsport system working, and has since opened his parts up to us so that a properly engineered, repeatable package can be developed for the platform.
