Bosch Motorsport M5 ABS Integration Kit for the Mazda RX-7 FD, proposed platform
A Bosch Motorsport M5 ABS integration kit for the Mazda RX-7 FD is a proposed platform at 909. It is not in development yet: this page measures demand, and the next development slots go to the platforms with the strongest registered interest.
Why the RX-7 is on the list
Thirty years on, the FD still fills time attack, sprint and circuit grids, on tyres the car was never sold on. The braking electronics have not moved with it. The factory ABS is an early 1990s road calibration, frozen at install, and the established competition build path on these cars deletes it entirely, so many of the FDs racing today carry no slip control at all. We cover that trade honestly in motorsport ABS vs factory ABS. Eleven selectable, documented calibrations on a cockpit switch is a different category of system, not a tidier delete.
What a 909 integration kit would be
Across our released platforms, a 909 kit is the vehicle specific engineering around the Bosch Motorsport M5: wheel speed sensing designed for the hubs and axles the car actually runs, hydraulic unit mounting in a location we have tested, cabin hardware bracketed rather than improvised, and calibration support behind it. That is the standard any new platform gets developed to.
On every 909 kit, brake lines from the master cylinder to the hydraulic unit are made to suit the vehicle at install: 909 specifications call for Goodridge or Speedflow hardware.

FAQs
Q: Is development underway?
A: No. This is a proposed platform. Registered interest is what moves it up the list; the next development slots go to the platforms with the strongest demand.
Q: When could a kit exist?
A: It is not scheduled. If the platform earns a development slot we contact registered owners first, and development cars occasionally get early access.
Q: What would the kit include?
A: The same standard as our released kits: the Bosch Motorsport M5 with eleven selectable calibrations on a 12 position map switch, vehicle specific wheel speed sensing, tested hydraulic unit mounting, bracketed cabin hardware and calibration support.
Q: Can you ship overseas?
A: Yes. 909 vehicle specific kits ship worldwide. Contact us for freight to your country.
Q: Is the system validated for road use?
A: No, Bosch Motorsport ABS is for track usage only.
