How DirectLink tokens work
Telemetry from the CG 3.2 arrives as an encoded stream. A DirectLink token is what lets one receiving point decode it — either a single laptop, or a WDServer, which can then share the decoded data with other laptops on the same network. Every CG 3.2 data plan includes one token, so a single-location setup is already covered: one decode point at the circuit, networked to as many screens as you run there.

When you need an Extra DL
The moment a second location needs to see the data live and has no network path back to your WDServer. Typical cases:
- Engineers at the workshop following the car while the team runs at the circuit
- A remote data or calibration engineer supporting the programme from another city
- The same programme running at a circuit and a test facility simultaneously
