Incremental Hall-effect speed sensor (HA-N) for camshaft, crankshaft or wheel speed, lightweight aluminium housing, direct connection to most ECUs and loggers.

- Up to 4.2 kHz; air gap 0.5-1.5 mm; -40 to 160°C
- Active-low open-collector output; repeatability <4% on the falling edge
- 5-18 V supply; 10 mm bore, 14 mm installation depth, 6 Nm
- Terminated: 1,000 mm flying lead (WHT/ORG = Vs, WHT/BLU = GND, WHT = signal); 28.5 grams with wire

How Hall-effect speed sensing works
A ferromagnetic target wheel rotating past the sensor modulates the magnetic field at the Hall element; integrated conditioning turns that into a clean digital signal for cam, crank or wheel speed. The HA-N element is selected for resistance to demagnetisation at high temperature and is approved for NASCAR competition as a camshaft sensor.
