The MS 7.8 developed for use with the Bosch LSU ADV lambda sensor — the newer wideband generation with higher maximum hexagon temperature.

- 46 analog inputs + 8 shared analog/digital/SENT + 12 digital inputs; 12x ignition
- Logging enabled as standard: FULL_LOG_1 (4 GB) + FULL_LOG_2 (4 GB) + DATA_USB; PERF_LOG_1 (16 GB) optional; download up to 6.2 MB/s
- 5x CAN (3 CAN-FD capable); LTE/Ethernet telemetry support; dual-core 1 GHz CPU with FPGA
- Dual electronic-throttle safety strategy; turbo, traction and launch control standard
- MATLAB/Simulink code generation for custom functions
- 198 x 180 x 42 mm, 1,560 grams; 6–18 V supply; -20 to 85°C
