For drag programmes, Bosch also offers SW Package MS 6 Drag 1 (launch time/distance, torque pre-control, launch RPM control, universal outputs) and SW Package MS 6 Drag 2 (requires Drag 1; adds time/distance boost control, driveshaft speed and gradient control, acceleration control and wheelie control, with an MM5.10 acceleration sensor included). How MS 6 software packages work
The MS 6 EVO hardware ships identical across the range; capability is unlocked by licence. A package is delivered as an activation for your ECU: no hardware changes, no downtime beyond the update. That lets a programme start on a lean specification and add logging, functions or measurement capacity when the car actually needs them.
